UAAP SEASON 70 Updates

great game yesterday. Good game for the vets especially mairhofer i think a 20-10 game. Casio was the missing factor in the offense of DLSU

dmp XI's are for fashion?wow,thats news to me.idk,i mean i have to believe some of these dudes are sneakerheads,they prolly have some heat stashed away,why not break em out at such a high profile game like yesterday?guess not everyone thinks that way.
FS:Militaries,AJX wht/red sz 11, crazy 1's sunshine,fire red 3's,penny 1 orlando colorway all sz 12.
 
It's their shoes and it's their life so don't judge Tang if he wears his DMPs to a game. SMH
Tang is a serious baller with or without DMPs or high performance balling shoes, he could break your ankles with ease with LA Gear beaters.

i don't think it's about whether or not dude is wearing the DMPs or judging him for wearing them...

i may not play basketball or know "professional basketball" very well

but i've seen that specific game, and i know you're supposed to play like a professional, not a fool
& most importantly, worrying about messing up your sneakers should be the last thing on your mind.


at least choose sneakers that are good for the court.
So if the devil wear Prada, Adam Eve wear nada,
I'm in between, but way more fresher ...​
 
Just to add re: DMP's I remember talking to TY about those DMP's and true enough after about 2 games and a couple of practices later his DMP VI's started to give. Also jokingly he "sentenced" his XI's to another game and swore they weren't going to last longer

it's not about how expensive your shoes are.. that doesn't win games. i've balled in SVSM LeBron 2s that cost me more than i paid for my DMPs (under retail, since i know how much that means to a certain person), but the important thing with those was that they actually performedjojocarlo

It is true that recent retro's have poor quality especially the IV's!!!..you have a point size twelve... Pero when it comes to ballin in expensive shoes..i rather not play ball in them sayang eh, you can buy cheaper shoes with quality naman dba?..pang casual na lang and collection purposes yung mga expensive kicks.. Just my opinion.. :smile:

Yeah yeah we don't need a long explanation regarding YOUR SHOES and YOUR EXPERIENCE cause frankly we don't care about that and if you try to relate it to TY's EXPERIENCE balling in DMPs, it's an entirely new situation, cause TY is small and athletic and your FAT and bulkier than him.

So what if the DMPs are thinner man? So what if playing with the DMPs made TY slip? Is it really that big of a deal to you and YOUR world huh? I also believe that DMPs are made for light walking and for COLLECTION purposes. But you guys really think that btchin about a persons preference of rocking the shoes in a ballgame is IMPORTANT enough to be WHINED and COMPLAINED at make it a big issue? If you dont like the DMPs being worn by a baller then don't watch the damn game.

imo that game was rico's most dominant and most significant performance this season, it showed the potential that he has as a player. he should be that aggressive in every game in order to be effective and a contributor to dlsu.

one thing i noticed with the way coach franz rotates his players, he somehow leaves cholo on the bench during crunch time, imo his lineup shouldve been casio,tang,cholo,rico and walsham during crunchtime since they are the more experienced players and in fairness to cholo, he was playing well yesterday.

coach norman black is like a magician against dlsu this season pulling a rabbit out of a hot with performances of jai reyes in the 1st round and yuri escueta in the 2nd round.

still go dlsu, hope we can pull one against ue.

anyone have any idea on the final 4 format? i haven't been following the uaap lately, just catching up on the web.

if UE wins, they're automatically given the first finals berth, right? so Ateneo, UST (assuming they win against FEU) and DLSU are ranked second, third & fourth, respectively? how's the other finals slot decided?

UE - 14-0
AdeMU - 10-4 (assuming, they win against NU)
UST - 9-5
DLSU - 9-5

UST vs. DLSU in sudden death? winner faces Ateneo for the 2nd finals slot?


PS. throw out these assumptions if NU and FEU win.

from early season favorites, it comes down to DLSU desperately needing to win their last game. they've truly gone full circle.

i think the boys are tired and fatigue is already catching them, i saw what happened to RIco late in the game and he was all out gasping for air when din't start at all and also Ty finishing the game on the bench... why??

DLSU prepared so much for this season and end up winning most of the pre season tournaments. unlike with UE they just cruising along thru summer league and look were they at right now..
