Under Armour?

Was on the verge of typing. Probably another one of the volt sole pack. This one has a different tongue logo from the rest though.
the tongue logo looks like it's a celtic knot, not sure which knot or what the meaning of that knot is... below is the celtic knot for protection

{ the colorway of the shoe is similar to the colors in the flag of Ireland }

Probably St. Patty's, but man those are awful.  The most recent GR mid colorways have been terrible.  I don't know what happened with the progression there, but we got some awesome SC PE's, some very nice ND and Maryland colorways, Award Seasons and then this batch of random colorways all with volt.

That last pair reminds me of a garden salad with shredded carrots.  Who is going to get those with SC1's out now?
I'm fine with this, if they end up going for huge discounts later I will scoop with a swiftness to use them for hooping.

Definitely agree.  I like the black/gold, but not the other two.

For me, I guess in terms of percentages, 2 nice lows out of 4 is pretty good compared to how many Mids they released and how few of them I actually wanted.

I guess now would be a good time to stock up on them though.  They have been my favorite shoe to play in for a while now and every other shoe I play in makes me appreciate them more.  The SC line will be around for a while, but the CF Drive to me is one of the all time GOATS.  I don't want to look back a year or two from now and not have any pairs to break out.

All three lows are excluded from discount. The popularity has its disadvantage. Hopefully HOH or FTL has them so I can use a birthday coupon on one of them. Or else I will wait or buy another mid that aren't excluded. Truly an outstanding shoe, for I have stocked up on them already lol.

Are almost all shoes typically excluded when they first release? Especially a brand's "statement" shoe? I know UA has the Curry 1 now, but up until this month, all they had was the CF Drives. But judging from the number of colorways out, and the Curry 1s continuing to release, I'm expecting some of these coloways to price drop significantly.

Not the Adidas J. Wall, recent Rose 5s since they know they don't sell, don't remember if they were excluded when they debut. It depends if the shoes sell, how popular they are. They tend to lift the exclusion when they don't sell.

For the Drives, the exclusion is on some pairs and not others. When they first came out they probably weren't excluded but I didn't start buying UA until few months ago. The ND PE, Heritage, Award Seasons aren't excluded from discount so I don't know how they determine what gets excluded or not. The low colorways aren't anything special. If they released them months ago, pretty sure they would not have the exclusion.

For the Curry 1s, they are 2 for 2 with the exclusion on Eastbay/FTL. Candy Reign, Underdogs, and Father to Son may have the exclusion also, we'll have to wait and see.

I asked Eastbay once why some have the exclusion and they said it is up to the manufacturer, but we know they don't care since they're paid so what the seller does with the shoe's pricing/discounts is up to them.

Hmm, that's interesting. I know the Elite24s were excluded as well at the Curry PEs but yeah I guess it's just as Eastbay feels.

Is the gold on the upper the same as the ND navy/gold? Looks more golden on the Award Season.

CFD mids are beasts performance wise. ONLY thing that bothers me is the stiffness around the ankle area (that's being ver nitpicky). I might have to try the lows and/or the Curry 1s. I only tried on the Curry 1s so far and cushioning feels more stiff than CFD. It most likely will break in.

For reference, the GOAT performance bball shoe for me is the Huarache 2K4 - lightweight, upper felt like a sock, great traction, perfect amount of cushion with responsiveness. A great shoe would be the CFD midsole/cushion set up with the Curry 1 anafoam upper.

try using it without tying it up to the last eyelet...

Think im  finally going to get my first pair of clutch fits, going to be my first non Jordan/nike bball shoe ever! with gift cards and coupons looking at about 75 shipped

Do it! :evil You wont look back. For the value and performance, you can't beat UA.

couldn't resist. just purchased me the award season.. that gold clip just looks dope as hell with the gold fade lol

Bought the Oreo IV's, but I was more excited about the black Clutchfit Drive/SC PE I got. Went to FTL to return some John Walls and was content with store credit, but they had the last one in my size. Wore em straight out the store, because they felt great on feet. First UA sneaker I bought that wasn't a running/training model. Unbelievably great sneaker. Kicking myself for not getting the white joints though. Saw new colorways of the lows were on FTL website, but seems like they're a pre-order. I'm drinking the kool-aid on these though. Thanks for the reviews/updates in this thread.

I had some forefoot slippage issues with 2K4's at times, but it was fine at others.  The cushioning was a bit too firm for me for extended sessions, but other than that they were good.  Had one of my all time best pick-up game performances in those shoes

My favorite Nike bball shoe is the Zoom BB Low.  A slice of basketball nirvana right there.

I also lace my Drives to the second to last eyelet.  It's not hard to adjust the fit of this shoe in various areas, I find it easy to do it and the shoe maintains.  I usually keep the forefoot somewhat tight, and then tighten up the midfoot/ankle more.  Works for me.

got a favor to ask .........

any 1 seen or know where i can get size us9.5 in these 2 CWs ?

any help would be greatly appreciated

I'm getting the Genesis (black/gold) when they lift the discount exclusion.  Hell maybe even two pairs.
