copped a 16gb 10 inch galaxy tablet waiting for it to arrive @ HHGregg .... how much of an upgrade over my 32gb hptouch pad running android will this be??
Depends...did you get the Note 10.1 or Galaxy 10.1
The Note 10.1 will be a big upgrade.
Galaxy 10.1 will be a decent upgrade but might seem slow due to TW.
galaxy

whats TW?
Still dont know what TW is but i just got the call & they have both back in stock so i may get the note... gonna see which one i like the most.......
TouchWiz. The version of TouchWiz on the Note 10.1 will run a lot smoother+ the Spen features make the Note 10.1 better than the Galaxy 10.1.

I'm waiting on a tablet in hopes of a cheaper Nexus 7 coming out, I think that's a big enough tablet especially with the big bezel on the N10.

:x Dat resolution
:x :| hopefully my info is wrong and that VIA WM8950 is not single core 0]
hopefully Vizio will be aggressive with the pricing of their nexus 7 knockoff.

What Android phone is recommended for T-Mobile on heavy data tethering usage. If it makes a different, I need a very tough phone because I'm reckless like that...

id say a nexus 4 but since you tether a lot and need a tough phone get da S3 or a Note 2

And battery life is important because I am always on location for work and needing to use GPS and reference things on the internet.

Can I use the RAZR MAXX HD on t-mobile's network?

Basically, I plan on giving up the laptop and getting a tablet so I can do office work on the go plus entertainment. And this tablet will be tethered off of the android phone. I seem to put myself in situations often where I am low on resources, and so this is the direction I am heading...

EDIT: I See the RAZR MAXX is not compatible with T-mobile 4G. My mom has a Galaxy Note II; I'll check it out.

I answered you right after your post.

question to those who have the S3 on tmobile. does it have a free hotspot feature or is that an extra $10? deciding on the S3 and the N4, i think the N4 has that feature for free since it's a nexus phone correct?. i'm getting impatient of waiting for the N4 to be in stock again and can't find a reasonable price where i'm at on craigslist.
its built in. Just user user switch agent on your browser

Dropped my Nexus 4 earlier in my Dogs water bowl....unfortunately the bowl won. This sucks after owning it for only a month and a half.

I think im done with phones after this, just going to get something that keeps me connected daily because i dished out too much for numerous phones, when something like this happens it sucks so bad :lol

Great phone BTW

did you put it in a bag of uncooked rice before declaring it dead?

Girlfriend got me a early birthday present...Galaxy Note 10.1 :hat Thing is a beast!! Now just need my Note 2.

I got $300 dollars in sears gift cards that I should probably spend on a weight set and headbands, but I'm leaning towards a nexus 7 for on the go design work with sketchbook pro and note taking (maybe some mega man 2). Anyone use a 7" screen for similar work and find it to be effective? They don't carry the nexus 10 so that's unfortunately not an option. I'm looking to keep it around 250 because CA tax will drive it up to the $300 range and my mission was to save some room on the card for some Lee's carpenter jeans.

Here's what they got. Any suggestions?
