Is sense really that good now?
i dont care for what overlay the systems have really. but besides the gimmicky "blinkfeed" which is really just the flipboard app as a main screen... u can have the normal android experience without it just by going to another homescreen (which nobody seems to be reporting about) but personally the features on the one interest me more. these s4 gimmicks are utterly useless.

Again. .... don't see why they would update it that much seeing that soo many people bought the galaxy 3 and note 2..... the people buying this phone will be more note 1, Galaxy 2, evo 3D, and Htc desire customers

wasn't Groundbreaking. ... but what do you expect? Why fix a design that wasnt broken? Just make the phone faster with better battery life with a better camera and higher resolution screen.

that being said......I will need to see camera shots before I switch from the note 2..... no reason for me to get the 4 at this point.

yeah these Samsung gimmicks are not why I bought the phone. I turn off all the features. that NFC touch thing on the s3 that they made a huge deal about? never used.

stop trying to invent these things. how about you first cut out that ridiculous lag on screen rotation first? and stop making Samsung versions of Google apps.

my next phone will definitely be a nexus. Samsung may have overplayed its hand. let's see what happens next.

As far as HTC..... they lost me with the deleting of the sd card slot. ... NOT a fan of that at all. ... and it IS a deal breaker for mebut to each his own... et all have our reasons. But I was dupped by the evo LTE.... never again.

The thing i've been saying forever is they needed to make this look different because they have been making fun of Apple users for so long and now want to do the same thing they have. Sure the market for this phone will be Note, GS2, EVO etc but if they're going to make this a yearly phone and have an event like tonight, they need to bring it with more than they did.

That is, if they want to differentiate themselves from Apple. It just seems like Samsung has sold out and realized the way Apple has done it for so long has made them successful. If their product cycles will S in the spring and Note in the fall, that's fine. Just don't act like what you're putting out is truly groundbreaking and different from your competitors when in reality, it isn't.

This phone will do great and has a lot of potential. I hope it grows and doesn't make Samsung take a step backwards because more people lean towards the S3 because they don't understand the S4.

man this is gonna be exact same thing with the Apple. If you have a 5 you dont need the 5s and prob wont be in impressed. Just like the GS2 to the 3 you really didnt need people just copped because it was the new device. Hell look at the Galaxy Nexus to Nexus 4, nobody NEEDED to upgrade, people just wanted the newest thing. What people are finally seeing I guess is there is no need to upgrade every damn time a new device drops unless you just simply want it. New technology comes out every year but it takes about 2 years to even see something that is THAT different. I promise you there are Rooted Galaxy Nexus users who are perfectly fine with that they have. Its just American Materialism where dudes feel they must have the newest item ever year. I promise 80% of the people here could buy a Galaxy Note 1 and be fine when it boils down to actually using the device.

If I can find a stand that holds the phone, it would be nice to not have to touch it when changing songs while driving.

This s4 announcement has lead me to drop my n4...i just got the thing a week ago too. welp.

It's BEEN Apple! It's just DUMB to me that Samsung has made fun of it for so long, and now is doing it. :{

The S4 has some pretty cool, innovated things going on behind it's shell. Some useful, others just a gimmick. I will say some of these things seem Apple-esque, like if Samsung didn't think of it (or release it first) than Apple would of. A few things in particular are:

Air View
Air Gesture
Dual Camera Mode
Smart Scroll

These features scream Apple. Since Apple is really big on innovation or taking somebody elses and making it better putting there spin on it. I can see these features or some form of them end up on a iPhone or iPad and than Apple announce in a conference that they came out with it first, :rolleyes

The S4 comes off more like a S3s, I mean Samsung is REALLY tearing a page out of Apple playbook, and I'm not surprised, and nobody should be, Samsung LOVES Apple. They want to be just like them, it's like the little brother who wants to be just like his big brother and do everything he does :x. My only gripe is I'm not a fan of the overall design, wish Samsung put more into it like they did software, but than again, if it's not broke, why fix it?

been with my nexus s 4g for the longest, can't wait for the S4 to release since I'm finally eligible for upgrade.

Idk s4 seems week so i might just wait for that new nexus

after seeing that S3 deal for 1 penny on amazon I may go that route, I just hate having sprint but unlimited data > *

I don't even think 4G LTE is offered in Brooklyn :lol

I like The HTC One. I'd like to try out Sense, kind of tired of Touchwhiz. Yes I know I could root, but still. I have Samsung fatigue. Need a new experience.

Yea I'm keeping my note 2. The screen size is intriguing but I will keep the note. Besides we will have all of the new software updates shortly. Kinda how the note 2 had multi view first then the s3 got it. Samsung played it safe that's for sure. The hardware was :rolleyes but the enhancements to touch wiz were :smokin.

My upgrade is here and I am itching to get rid of my laggy HTC Inspire. Unless I see something drastically different I am going with the S4. Not sure about Sense on the HTC One and just want to get the best right out of the gate so hopefully a year in I won't be itching to get a new device like I have been the last 2 times I got phones.
