No Cuz if you pay off the phone early you don't have to wait 2 years to cancel your line b.

Yeah pretty much :lol

I think people are missing the concept. You can always bring your own phone to T-Mobile too and get unlimited calls & 4gLTE for $70 and there'd be no contract.

If you buy a phone thru them it's basically like putting it on a credit card, it's not like a Sprint or Verizon contract where you have to pay a fee to get out of your contract.

If they had a cheaper plan with less min but still unl text and web I`d prob cop something just to try it out, 100 min is way to little when you factor what I normally would use that was in network and free nights and weekends.

its 10 cents a minute after you go over 100..so $10 for an extra 100 min

so depending on your needs it can still be cheaper to an extent

Brah which T-Mobile u works at

I work customer service, not in a store man. Might make that move eventually if I decide to stick with the company. I have a friend who started out where I am and now works in a store and said he was making more $$ helping people over the phones.

I`m gonna wait to see how their LTE pans out, because I just cant sacrifice the service I get with VZW to have non existent service, because Tmobile doesnt work in my crib and at my job my desk is in a dead spot but my VZW LTE gets like 1-2 bars so I can every so often do basic stuff.

When you think about it it's amazing how advanced smartphones have become, but how many difficulties we still have with the basic service to use them :lol

really it all boils down to Ma Bell and them breaking up, pretty much Verizon was about to buy up the most stuff so pretty much they will always have the best service, they send 6 billion a year on their network, Tmobile spends maybe a couple hundred million if that.

I get a discount at T-Mobile stores for any accessories. But the prices in there are so high anyways I am better off getting something online.

As far as your pictures, they didn't transfer over with your google account?

I work in "loyalty dept.", dealing with people that want to cancel all day :{

Have had the last 2 days off since they launched the uncarrier, dreading going into work tomorrow.

I ALWAYS ask for the loyalty department. I'm probably one of those calls trying to get a deal by threatening to leave. :lol

Yeah there was a lot of that bs going on. Now though since there aren't any contracts, no subsidies, there really aren't any deals we can give out. They took away all our phone offers about a week ago. I would say only about 20% of the people we were actually talking to were serious about cancelling, the rest were fishing for a deal with their empty threats. They would swear up and down they were going to leave if you didn't give them xxxxx deal. And you would say no and notify them of their cancellation rate, and that would be the end of it.

yup companies were losing so much money to these cheap skates, all they do know is let you know how much it is to cancel and the end. Because at the end of the day those customers cost more money to the company than they are worth

Truth. Every once in a while I would come across an account that was given damn near as much $ in credit to their account that it was almost equal to the amount that the customer had paid in. At some point you just have to know when to cut a customer loose. I can tell you if you are one of those people that call in each month asking for the same credit to your account or what not, you aren't getting it.

these new t-mobile plans make me kinda wanna switch... currently with Sprint right now.

I have a monthly 25% discount on my plan. So it would be $75-$80/month with the unlimited data, text, basically unlimited minutes, and Total Equipment Protection included.

the only thing I'm worried about is if I get with T-Mobile on those non contract plans, if something happens to my phone like it breaks, stolen, lost it. game over I guess

Yambs gone be like "what's that"

pretty sure they arent taking away insurance. This plan is only good if you buy in full or bring yor own device. A Big problem we faced when I worked at Tmo with the installment plan stuff is fraud, dudes would open fake accounts and cop phones multi lines usually and use a fake check for the downpayment.
