Doesn't Instagram use their own special camera for pictures, and even when you upload from a photo take with your phones camera app, won't it resize/compress it for instagram viewing? Not sure on that 2nd part but I just assumed.

You can take a pic using the instagram cam or your own, Instagram doesnt compress, if your photo is to big then everything wont fit in the frame. The Instagram camera doesnt do anything special besides add filters so it is still using your phones camera

more than likely a Dev will make a custom rom based off of the Nexus GS4 and spread the love to all the other GS4 users

I would just root bro. That way you can choose between stock 4.2 ROMS and debloated touchwiz ROMS. The touchwiz ROMS are actually very good. They change them completely and sometimes even mix in some vanilla android stuff while keeping the touchwiz features. Also, they allow you to access all of the apps in split view

Doubt it, most likely the 'white' N4 will be showcased but I believe Google said no new hardware will be revealed this I/O. I hope I'm wrong though, looking to get the N4 before the end of the month.

Yeah I'm liking it too. I may keep subscription past June too.

Funny thing is, I got 6 months of Spotify unlimited from gift cards I got over Christmas. That ends in June right when I have to decide if I want to keep Google's subscription. It wil makes switch so easy, since I won't be overlapping subscriptions. lol

Well not all carriers have received that update. So, it depends on what carrier you are on.

I'm on Sprint, I got the update and my phone shows 4.1.2 but I have none of the updates. I was told by Samsung that my baseband version isn't what it should be.

Well it is a going to still be 4.1.2. I think T-Mobile is the only US carrier that has it as of now though.
