I was just gonna post the .apk for Netflix. I haven't installed it yet either, streaming isn't work, but like Hulu and Skype, a lil messing with the settings and it should be good.
Follow along with the video below to see how to install our site as a web app on your home screen.
Note: This feature may not be available in some browsers.

now i've read about this 'rooting.' can anyone recommend a site like iclarified.com and a msg board like modmyi.com that's good for android phones? my iP4 is jailbroke and unlocked, and my hopes are i can enjoy the perks i have on it, i can enjoy on the X. can i get things like wireless tethering, hacked android marketplace, theme customization, and the ability to SSH into the phone?
thanks in advance. sure you guys are tired of these questions, but i'm a n00b and former iphone user.
didn't get the verizon iphone because there's no point in buying it again when the iP5 drops. if this android thing works out, i'm going to look forward to the bionic or the X2.

HDMwIN for HTC EVO now available in Android Market

It wasn't too long ago that pairing an HTC EVO 4G with an HDMI cable (or dock) accomplished little more than outputting photos, personal videos, and a couple of apps on an HDTV. But as of today, there are now two apps in the good ole Android Market that allow the EVO/HDMI duo to reach their full potential: HDMI mirroring.
Following Saturday's release of FullHDMI ($2.99) is teamwin's HDMwIn (free), which was only in alpha just a few short days ago—yeah, Shinzul wasn't kidding when he said to "expect [the app] to change rapidly."
The free app requires root and an "accelerated" kernel to function properly. Before using it for the first time, you currently need to flash (tutorial here) one of two modified kernels—one for Sense and one for CyanogenMod 7—and clear the cache/Dalvik.
Features of HDMwIn include portrait and landscape orientation, auto-rotation, resolution switching, adjustable overscan, and background banners. As of this writing, sound output does not work on CM7 (it works on Sense-based ROMs); teamwin is on it, though, so an update that enables it shouldn't be too far off.
More screenshots, a video of HDMwIn (earlier version) enabling full-screen SNES with Wiimote use on an HDTV, and the QR code below.

Hit up the link and follow the directions, I haven't tried it but will when I have the time. I expect the app to be in beta/full release when CM7 comes out of RC. Can't wait, The EVO becomes more functional and useful everyday thanks to the XDA DEVS
