No, they're isn't.  They're a HUGE waste of money.  If you're not gonna get a real extended battery, you're better off getting the cheap, chinese "slim extended" knock-offs for $5 that work just as good as, or sometimes even a little bit better than, OEMs.  They're almost the EXACT SAME thing as companies like seido, amzer, mugen, ect. charging $40-$50.  The ebay ones are GREAT value for price as they work about as well as OEMS, and you can buy a few and keep them handy since they're cheap and easily replaceable.

Honestly, I'd just root it and run juice defender.

I'm on a rooted Thunderbolt, use my phone pretty often and I can last pretty much the entire day with 4G on.

but dont you find the iphone like a brick after holding an S2? lol
Don't get me wrong...the Galaxy S2 is a beast...phone did a lot and I liked what it did. But with the terrible battery life I had with it and the bugs and the

marketplace. I'm just a iphone dude...not a fanboy by any means but you know how you go against something you normally used to and you end up right back with it. That's how it was with the Galaxy S2 and the 4.

Sprint Galaxy Nexus with LTE leaked in web ad

THE VERGE
Well, this is a surprise. A web ad on CNET's website just revealed "the first 4G LTE phone for Sprint," which is none other than the flagship Galaxy Nexus. It's a rather unceremonious reveal, which leads us to believe someone just flipped the switch a few too many days early — we'd expect a more formal debut for CES next week. Since Sprint also just announced its first LTE markets will be coming by mid-2012, we reckon that gives us a pretty decent launch window.

See that? That's a Galaxy Nexus... for Sprint. The Android 4.0 handset -- only available in an unlocked HSPA+ form and on Verizon Wireless' airwaves today -- is currently being pimped in an official Sprint ad over on CNET, and it's probably no coincidence that it's live just moments after CEO Dan Hesse talked up the carrier's first LTE markets. Crazily enough, we had a similar situation a few years back at CES, where the Palm Pre actually emerged here on our own ads prior to the handset being properly revealed. We've reached out to Sprint and will be updating this post as we learn more, but here's what's true should the ad prove legitimate.
We're looking at a familiar 4.65-inch HD Super AMOLED display, Android 4.0, a 1080p movie mode, front and rear cameras, and a 1.5GHz dual-core processor; for those keeping count, that's 300MHz more powerful than the 1.2GHz chip in the HSPA+ and VZW models.

And i hope no one didn't buy that $560 GSM MODEL GALAXY Nexus phone i posted cause, my friend just sent me this link where they got it for

Definitely a known scam site. Only accepts Western Union (Strike 1, 2, AND 3), and never ships out the item after receiving the money.  Dont do it

Damn waiting 2 more months for the Galaxy Nexus is hard. The reason why Im waiting is that hopefully the price will go down. Can't justify a $700 unlock price, no matter how tech advanced it is.

might give the Galaxy Note a try.  Passed on the Galaxy Nexus.

Would be nice if the Note came preinstalled with Ice Cream Sandwich.

Go to the bottom of the their homepage. You'll see "VeriSign Trust" try to click cause it goes no where
Now go to Eastbay.com and do the same thing. I can't put my trust in company across the world and friend said he didn't trust it to so he held off the purchase.

edit: you won't even see it verisign trust cause they blocked it out lol
