Question about Civil War in the comics and how they will do it in the cinematic universe

"Events of the whole cinematic universe will make all governments in the world want regulation. Not so much about secret identity, but about who reports to who."

Civil War looks like a total departure from the comics:

Feige confirms that CIVIL WAR will be global superhuman registration with a specific inciting incident

Secret identities aren't as important in the MCU version of the story

Hulk probably goes ape ****

Just a hunch, but I think they have a Planet Hulk movie planned. However, announcing it now would clearly giveaway part of AoU.

if AOU is 2015

and civil war is 2016.. and avengers infinity wars starts 2018

so planet hulk has to be after AOU.. and you assume WWH would have to be before infinity wars, since they would need hulk for thanos

On solo BW film: Feige says the reason it hasn't happened because she's so good working with the Avengers and says that the Hulk is, at the moment, the same way

If Planet Hulk is after AoU, I'd guess they'd have announced it today too.

Not going to lie, I have completely stopped caring about seeing comic stories adapted to film.

but the 13 year old version of is going insane right now. :lol :eek

I was starting to thing the days of Solo films in the MCU was over tbh..

figured after Cap 3 every film would be somewhat of a "team-up"

could easily have scarlet witch mess with all of them.. and then hulk has lingering effects or something

or because banner has his issues with tony for stuff he may have done, the hulk obviously takes that to the extremely when he shows up and sees him (like what happened with black widow and her lying to him and hulk remembering it when he saw her)

no description on the footage that was shown?

It was Stark and Cap in a cabin chopping woods and then arguing or talking about an argument. Then Stark says something like "isn't it why we fight? To get home?" Then Cap gives him a look that he still has no home.

as was said, announcing planet hulk gives away what happens with hulk in AOU

Not really. They could have just said untitled Hulk film like GotG 2.

I haven't double checked but I don't think there's a date available in between AoU til A:IW Part2 in 2019.

Unless they squeeze Planet Hulk in the GotG sequel, not sure how it's gon' work.

They have:

AoU and Antman in 2015.
Cap3 and Doc Strange in 2016.
GotG2, Thor3 and BP in 2017.
A:IW Part 1, Cap Marvel and Inhumans in 2018.
A:IW Part 2 in 2019.

No slot for a Hulk film there.
