Breaking bench press records

TFA went wrong the second the one and only successful trial of a WW2 super soldier project America put millions in to was made to be propaganda for enlisting and raising morale of civilians about the war as a sideshow act.

The scumbag could've had 3 great movies. First one actually being about and focusing on him.

But hey it was a game of #s in the early MCU days.

WW piggybacked off of the 70s tv show more so but I see what you're saying....

Both movies ended with a dude named Chris crashing a plan.. Wonder Woman is first avenger with a better beginning and middle (pretty much until the final boss battles AND the Boris and Natasha unnecessary stuff)

Are we really going to act like TFA wasn’t trash? Dude got injected and all of a sudden is a weapons expert, knows several forms of martial arts, is a brilliant strategist and is a captain. I never knew all that was included in that damn serum.

In Iron Man you see Tony perfecting his suit.
In Ant-Man you see Scott and Hope training.
In Doctor Strange you see him perfecting his craft.

Movie would’ve been flames if they should Scumbag having times trials, breaking bench press records, learning martial arts and so on. Movie was rushed and you know it! They rushed it to hurry up and get it out before A1 dropped. Best thing going for it was Peggy.

Exactly.. this dude even faked his way to the rank of captain

We saw him get his a*** handed to him (even that was a chance to show him using tactics against a clearly superior foe).. then for dude who got his panties in a bunch when tony told him he'd just cut the wife, dude used his head to get out of running and getting the flag by pulling the pin

And can't forget dude being the puppet show to sell war bonds

We never see dude learning tactics/strategy at any point.. we see him disobey orders from his commanding officer to save his boyfriend AND was lucky a stark was around multiple times during the film

At least Wonder Woman, the movie that piggybacked off that movie, we saw her learning to be that thing.. and then she maintained her naivety through the whole thing

Still not sure if you guys are trolling or wildin' or whatever but Captain America was a weak, WW II rookie that gained his powers with the super serum. Prior to that he was determined to become a soldier so he in all likelihood had some theoretical knowledge of hand to hand combat and firearms but lacked physical capability. These movies are fantasy and they all take liberties, our original discussion was more about overall quality.

We saw him get beat up

There are a number of fighting techniques one can use when fighting a bigger opponent, as Steve was pre serum.. they could have done more to show dude actually preparing himself despite his physical limitations

The only thing we see him do that is smart is pulling out the pin in the flagpole

Other than that, they show he is willing to get beat up and willing to jump on top of what he perceives to be a live grenade

If he was so determined to be that thing he wanted to be, maybe he should have legitimately trained.. so showing him doing certain forms of martial arts would have made sense

Show him actually putting up a fight with a bigger opponent because he's using skill

If he was smart he woudve became a sniper.

And yeah there's no reason to believe he knew how to fight or what consisted of army training just cuz he wanted to join and got beat up on the streets of the lower east side.

Team Tchalla but Cap still has the best set of films. Cap1 is a solid origin despite the beta Red Skull.

When do you guys think we'll see a trailer for A4? Super Bowl?

It's always entertaining whenever Captain Coloziner 's skill set in the MCU is called into question, his supporters always pivot into "why you always talking about him for" but can never provide any convincing supporting argument in his defense

You know he did train in the army right?

Watched Antman & Wasp again because its box office isn’t sitting well with me. Too quality of a film to not be doing numbers :smh: Ready to call it a top tier MCU film. Legit hilarious and heartwarming. Who doesn’t like seeing Evangeline Lily and Hannah John-Kamen wrestle?
totally agree
love the antman franchise
antman beating im
in the good movie category
