WELCOME TO THE MARVEL MULTIVERSE -*RIP STAN LEE & Boseman* - Agatha All Along new ep every Wednesday

^Agreed. But a cameo by JK Simmons as Jameson would be great...

But I'd be happy if a Daily Bugle newspaper would be in a scene.

Technically it isn't really just a black armor, it has stealth capabilities like quieter boost and tech that messes with radars so it can't be detected and a bunch of other gizmos that differ it from the typical IM armor.

You have the have angular shapes to throw off radar. So even with the nondescript engine, anyone with a radar can pick him up.
You can scramble radar though with the right counter-measures.

I don't know the complete science and I am not going to pretend that I do but it simply isn't just a regular IM armor with black paint. It has features specific to it to help it become more stealth that simply isn't available in the other suits. That was my point.

I understand thats how it works for larger planes like the B2 bomber but arent ironman suits too small to be picked up by radar?

I PO'ed that sucker, sold out in about 4 hours....can't wait to get him, the paint app looks incredible

Well my point was they shouldn't call it stealth if it doesn't have all what's required to be stealth.

But it does, it may not have "absolutely everything" but it was made to be stealthy and not just painted black. Let me say though that in the end this is based on comic book so science doesn't exactly have to be precise, they can make up mumbo jumbo to make it stealth.

Capabilities
The Stealth Armor maximizes concealment over everything else. As a result, it is more fragile and cannot fit into a briefcase.

Radar-absorbing coating, ECM jamming, and a wave-modifying plasma layer held by a forcefield distort incoming radar and sonar signals. Emissions from the jets are washed by supercooled air as the boots themselves have liquid oxygen rings. If discovered, it could launch chaff.

Subterranean equipment was added for reaching underground areas. The sensory systems were upgraded for stealth missions, including an "auto-camera" with microfilm.

The original model had no weapons systems. A later version had limited weaponry: repulsors have enough charge for three shots. Its unibeam is usable but similarly low-powered. [2]

A booster pack conserves energy and increases the armor's long range capability.

Radar: Radar and a fluoroscope were used as sensors. Sensors were upgraded with a full-band transceiver, infrared, and a 'life detector' that was keyed to several important personnel.
In addition to radar, the armor also had sonar, a magnetic repellor, and an energy detector.

Radio Communication: Radio communications were enhanced by an antenna and a recorder.

Iron Man Armor Model 07 (Stealth Armor MK I)[edit]

First Appearance: Iron Man (vol. 1) #152 (November 1981)

The Stealth armor is another of the specialized suits of armor developed by Stark for specific missions, similar to the Space Armor; indeed, its creation was inspired due to him being tracked by radar during his use of the Space Armor. The Stealth Armor was designed using current "stealth" technology to allow Iron Man to foil detection devices and slip unknown in and out of restricted areas. This sleek, jet black suit (composed of impact resistant carbon-composites overlaid on top of layered "flex-metal" which can condense itself like a 3-dimensional accordion pleat) was a polarized metal mesh armor that uses every bit of space for detection and evasion components, and therefore was originally designed with no weapons. A bubble-shaped "backpack" was also incorporated into the armor to expand the space available for the stealth systems. Most of this armor used solar power to charge the batteries and run most of the integrated circuitry, though the pods on the sides were batteries that could maintain the suit's functions for a short time. It was able to recharge itself from electrical sources, a thermocouple to siphon power from extreme heat or cold, and solar power. The suit used force field technology to render Iron Man electronically invisible- a layer of low density plasma would be held in place by a focused magnetic field, and the tripole waveform reflected radar, along with a wave modifier that bent the radar around it. To quash any detectable infrared signature, the armor's boot-jet exhaust was "washed" by bursts of super-cooled air. The micro-turbines on his jet boots possess assisted air liquification devices; rings of liquid nitrogen.

Other variations of IMs stealth armors

Stealth Armor MK III[edit]

First Appearance: Black Panther (vol. 2) #44 (July 2002)

Similar to Stark's earlier Armor, the Mark III Stealth unit was also specifically designed to combat the Black Panther's anti-metal vibranium claws – it is composed entirely of advanced composite ceramics and experimental bio-neural gel-pack circuitry, fused with a kevlar-like polymer and backed by optical fiber networks; all of which comes down to an armor which was invisible to electronic detection systems as well as the naked eye, even the Black Panther's. Although the development of Stark's new cloaking technology for the Mark 25 "S.K.I.N." armor probably rendered the Mark III unit's stealth technology obsolete, the Stealth armor is nevertheless an effective weapon against opponents such as the Black Panther and Magneto because of its plastic/ceramic design.

Stealth Armor MK IV[edit]

First appearance: Iron Man (vol. 5) #3 (February 2013)

This armor debuted in the third issue of the "Believe" storyline, and was used by Stark during a raid on the home of a South American drug lord. The armor uses light-bending and holographic technologies to appear invisible, as well as alter its own appearance in order to impersonate others. Its systems being dedicated to infiltration and espionage mean that its conventional shields and weapons are far less powerful (Repulsor output at 10% normal, for instance), but it does possess the ability to administer a powerful sleeping gas.

Danikerhino you got big green monsters, gods from other worlds, a billionaire philanthropist who is a super hero, a scrony dude who gets injected and turns into a buff guy who can fight, aliens and artificial intelligence trying to wipe out the world.

And you worried about some stealth armor?

And you worried about some stealth armor?
fixed

He would be picked up as the size of a person. Optimally, you want to be a size smaller than a small bird.

Would they be looking out for that?

In IM 1 when he was flying through the desert for the first time and the two tomcats/raptors came after him the commander said "Is it stealth?" Referring to the fact that the radar didnt get him and the pilots said "No, it's just small"

They definitely would if it's in US airspace. Something being smaller than a jet that's a human form would look like an anomaly. They would send out an intercepter to identify it at least if they can't communicate.

So after weeks of rumors that Captain Marvel is going to make an appearance in AoU, I'm hearing no, now.

I is disappoint

that dude Jk really fit that role to a T.

Dude was immaculate as JJ :lol
Reminds me of another failure of the ASM movies. No JJ at all. It's like even they knew they couldn't find a guy to match what JK did.

She's suppose to have more abilities than that but AOS budget probably don't want to be used on somebody who is a pretty minor Inhuman.

She's not inhuman. She just got blades grafted to her hands. I just watched that episode. She's just someone shield found years ago and had a slight grudge.

apparently it was more cost efficient to create hand braces rather than just removing the blades from her finger nails
