I remember I watched Terminator 3 on a Thursday at 5pm. Day before official release.
Also saw civil war around 6pm the day before it’s release.nah, its only maybe a year before the pandemic when thursday night box office became a big deal but before that it was still midnight showing then they added 11am, 10, and so on and so forth but even before the shutdown i think some were still just 9pm iirc
i dont remember the last one i saw that late but i think i still saw BP in theaters at close to midnight, i think endgame i did see at 6pm or 7pm
they had early showings before but its not a wide release, only some theaters were allowed to do it as a special preview or event as ive attended those and most of em were free
pandemic did f up everything in my memory bank so who knows
