WELCOME TO THE MARVEL MULTIVERSE -*RIP STAN LEE & Boseman* - Agatha All Along new ep every Wednesday

Yea Brandon Lee was going to be the next big thing in Hollywood...

Call me crazy but I think Brandon Lee could've been Neo in the Matrix instead of Keanu Reeves...

Definitely, he already had the martial arts down and he and Keanu have a similar look

Just don't understand how a prop gun could have real bullets. That was how he died right? On set?

From Wikipedia...

In the scene in which Lee was accidentally shot, Lee’s character walks into his apartment and discovers his fiancée being beaten and raped by thugs. Actor Michael Massee's character fires a .44 Magnum revolver at Lee as he walks into the room.[8] A previous scene using the same gun had called for inert dummy cartridges fitted with bullets (but no powder or percussion primer) to be loaded in the revolver for a close-up scene; for film scenes which utilize a revolver (where the bullets are visible from the front) and do not require the gun to actually be fired, dummy cartridges provide the realistic appearance of actual rounds. Instead of purchasing commercial dummy cartridges, the film's prop crew created their own by pulling the bullets from live rounds, dumping the powder charge then reinserting the bullets. However, they unknowingly or unintentionally left the live percussion primer in place at the rear of the cartridge. At some point during filming the revolver was apparently discharged with one of these improperly-deactivated cartridges in the chamber, setting off the primer with enough force to drive the bullet partway into the barrel, where it became stuck (a condition known as a squib load). The prop crew either failed to notice this or failed to recognize the significance of this issue.

In the fatal scene, which called for the revolver to be actually fired at Lee from a distance of 3.6 - 4.5 meters (12–15 feet), the dummy cartridges were exchanged with blank rounds, which feature a live powder charge and primer, but no bullet, thus allowing the gun to be fired without the risk of an actual projectile. But since the bullet from the dummy round was already trapped in the barrel, this caused the .44 Magnum bullet to be fired out of the barrel with virtually the same force as if the gun had been loaded with a live round, and it struck Lee in the abdomen, mortally wounding him.[9] He was rushed to the New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, North Carolina where he underwent 6 hours of surgery. However, attempts to save him were unsuccessful, and Lee was pronounced dead at 1:03 p.m. EST. The shooting was ruled an accident.

Wasn't he already a lock for Neo? He definitely had momentum and the star look.

Pretty coke Lindsay was the goods. I've had a crush on her since I was a teen. Stupid drugs.

Don't really understand most of the gun jargon from that wiki entry, or maybe I'm just too sleepy to make sense of it. Just a shame for someone to die over a prop mistake.

i think they used a real gun which was supposed to have fake bullets but they didnt check to make sure and there was a real bullet in the chamber

Yea I don't know much at all about guns and how they work but after rereading, it sounds like they did exchange live for dummy rounds, but didn't know a bullet was already stuck in the chamber from a previous malfunction.. So when they fired the blanks, it fired the bullet too?

... I think?

Im not to good with gun jargon myself. I could definitely understand it if it were beginner ****. This is how I made sense of it:

Seems to me like they are saying that because you can see a revolvers bullets from the outside of a gun they needed to use real bullets with no gunpowder or primer so the bullet wouldnt go off at a dangerous speed. They accidentally left the primer in one of the bullets. They took a shot and bullet then got stuck in the barrel and no one noticed. Then at some point they used blank rounds which had gunpowder but no bullet. Combine that with the bullet that was stuck in the barrel, they didnt realize they had all the ingredients needed for the bullet inside the barrel to go off at close to full speed.

All of this couldve been avoided if they simply used a commercial dummy cartridge.

EDIT: For those who are not well versed in burner jargon the barrell is the "nose" of the gun. Regardless of wether the gun is a revolver or a pistol, the part that holds bullets is what most people call the clip. Although incorrect only a douche would give you a hard time for that.

TL:DR A bullet with no gunpowder got stuck in the barrel, a blank round with gunpowder and no bullet struck right behind it and they had all the ingredients for a live round at practically full speed.

I think ego the living planet would work on the big screen, it just wouldnt be necessary.

All of those new guys are better than any of the old guys. Get that Asa Butterfield **** outta here.

Leave asa alone. Heard he was the front runner to land the role of gumby in a live action gumby movie

Rumor/Spoiler alert for CW...

Take this one with a grain of salt, but a new rumor states that not only will William Hurt be reprising his role as General Thunderbolt Ross from 2008's Incredible Hulk but he'll also be transofrmin into Red Hulk. Additionally, the rumor states that Mark Ruffalo's Hulk is indeed involved in Civil War and that there will be an epic throwdown between Hulk and Red Hulk that will rival the Avengers: Age of Ultron battle between Hulk and Iron Man's Hulkbuster armor.

As much as I'd love to see the action and the two duke it out but it seems and feels unnecessary? I trust the Russos but it seems like too many are already going on in this film.

So wait not only did they make their own dummy rounds for a real gun but in the scene in question he still gets hit with the bullets?

Don't think Marvel is in danger of becoming anything like Batman and Robin

But yea. I don't want Red Hulk in the movie.

I didn't even want Hulk.
