So basically they got first dibs on villains so when they ruin them Marvel can’t use them and make them infinitely better.

It’s like a don’t embarrass us clause.

Plenty Spidey villains to elevate though. Not a problem.

Shame we won’t get to see a MCU Kraven for a while.

Also, keep in mind no Doc Ock, Green Goblin (Norman or Harry), Lizard, Sandman, proper Venom, Carnage, and Electro.

Unless they reveal that was part of contract agreements too there was/is nothing stopping Sony from just casting their own Spider-Man to show up in those movies.

Could be Miles, Ben, some other clone like Kaine, a Spider-Girl, etc.

Partially agree, think the multiverse/alternate timelines is giving me some fatigue.

With that being said, Deadpool and Wolverine was heavy fan-service, cool action, fun. Felt like a summer flick, and delivered for me.

I was feeling the same superhero fatigue until Xmen 97 and Deadpool 3 came out. Definitely reinvigorated my interest in the genre.
