9, The movie is complete from top to bottom. From playing in the MCU with the bigger characters, to establishing their own little corner and doing their own thing.
While the trailers play up mostly the humor, the entire movie has a CLEAR story with some well played drama.
While it's impossible for the movie to be perfect, it was amazing for me.

Pena is by far the biggest surpise of the movie. Not expected that from him at all.

The RT score keeps going up. This may be the opposite effect on what happened to IM3. I remember IM3 had a high 90 score then dipped significantly. Ant-Man started in the 60's

The Mandarin was just an act created by A.I.M. while it's later revealed there's a real Mandarin.
Besides the Iron Man movies never really leaned on that mystical and alien **** the Mandarin was in to.

IIRC Mandarin was going to be what brought the Avengers together when Favreau supposed to direct A1

^ loved how he had subtle mentions of the 10 rings in the 1st ironman.. of the top of my head, I even remember the terrorist bad guy having one of the rings..
ironman 2 and 3 disappoint me so much..
while I enjoyed the thor movies, they also disappointed me.. cause so much could have been done.. like I thought they should have introduced the enchantress and executioner in the 1st film.. and by the 3rd film you could be dealing with surtur

Metacritic is the worst lol. I think RT is just saying 92% of the reviews are positive while Metacritic actually tried to create a numeralical rating for reviews then averages them
