Exactly. There's really no reason for them to make him the center of the MCU, unless they just wanted to. So yeah, its not a loss at all. Nor is not including him as the new Spider-Man.

Only thing compelling in Miles' story was...
When the Venom symbiote attacked Miles in the hospital, which led to the death of his mother and his father's resentment towards Spider-Man and the rest of the superheroes.

Like I said before, just adapting Peter's stories for Miles would be a huge disservice for both characters. Miles will get his chance eventually they just need to build up ethos because right now he's a pretty thin character.
I'm pretty sure that's what they're going to do with him being the "real" Spidey in the all new universe.

No, not at all. Just to say that Marvel will get an L because they didn't cast Spider-Man as Miles Morals isn't a fair judgement. Personally, Peter Parker has so much history that can be brought to the MCU rather than Miles' history. I feel Miles is too new of a character to jump in the MCU, when people have been wanting OG Spider-Man in the MCU.

Just saw ant-man, first and foremost a solid 8.5/10. I remember previously how people were complaining that it wasn't about the original wasp and hank pym, I think this movie did a great job of appreciation of them.
Peña was HILARIOUS. Every scene he was great. Just a great solid movie. The Falcon scenes tied him in with the avengers. Loved it

Even ignoring the change in creators the origin of Ultron is different from how it plays out in AOU. He was never that powerful in his first few incarnations but I guess that has to do with him taking Tony's stuff.
