All this. Didn't hate Thor 2, but it was forgettable. GotG did what Thor 2 should've, create a believable world you can escape to and fill in with your thoughts, and characters you care about. His mom died for Christ's sake, that should've been a moment but it wasn't. Folks felt more for a damn tree that they know can regenerate anyways. That's why i'd have it over the Avengers.

If that could ever happen DC would go under so fast and that's just Batman.
I really do wish Marvel bought Batman when DC almost went bankrupt or that rumors were true and DC was gonna be dissolved and license out or sell their characters.
