WELCOME TO THE MARVEL MULTIVERSE -*RIP STAN LEE & Boseman* - Agatha All Along new ep every Wednesday

Someone correct me if I'm wrong as it's been a while since I read the CW comics:

- It seems like Tony tried to force Cap to agree to the Registration Act

- Tony wants all superhumans to be registered and work for the gov't -- what if some of them don't want to work for the gov't?

- I agree that in the movie realm, the Sokavia and NYC incidents were cause to at least put some reins on them

- So in sum, this is basically a case of protecting us from ourselves and being accountable for one's actions?

Also, this all would've been resolved if both sides just sat down and walked through the plan in detail.

What is up with Feige and this obsession with Guardians :rolleyes

and...

SANCTUM SANCTORUM!!!!
You can't be so hateful or dense of GotG not to realize it's a cash cow now.
Boob reductions have their place.

Peggy Carter chick needs one.
Shut the **** up you mad man.

This is why TeamCap deserves to lose and die.

There is no need for breast reductions.

You disgust me.

:rollin :rollin :rollin

This whole thread coming for my neck! Team IM AND Cap!

I just saved you guys from Civil War :hat

Sort of.

- Some big explosion killed a bunch of ppl in CT cuz of the New Warriors fighting a villain that can explode like a bomb while recording it like a reality show which prompted a closer look on unchecked vigilantism. In the movie, that'll be invasion of NY, Sokovia, etc.
- SHIELD tried to arrest Cap before the registration act even passed
- When it did the gov't put Tony in charge and made him director of SHIELD and he arrested any hero that didn't register
- Things proceed to get really out of hand cuz Marvel really couldn't balance both sides to a legit argument and just ended up making Tony and the gov't the bad guys
- Then yeah what you said in the end is basically the message/lesson

Every superhero fight could be resolved if they talked first and fought last but then these comics would be the most boring in the world :lol Even some villains can be talked down

Thanks, Zik. You the homie.

The bold part is where I take issue with how the storyline went. They basically put Tony into the villain role as a "compassionate tyrant." The minute you force someone to do something, it's over.

I imagine the movie will end just like the comics did: Cap realizing the severity of the argument, him dying, and Tony crying.

For my Bay Area heads, I had to buy my Metreon IMAX tickets at the theater box office. Apparently they just fixed the IMAX theater, which is why Metreon IMAX tickets are never up on fandango or amc.

That's right. Rhodes out ranks him
Everybody outranks hims that works in the armed forces that happens to be a superhero :lol

Only this past decade they just gave him some special ranking in SHIELD in the comics.

Fixed.

convo is over cap's head.. asking a foot soldier to make general level decisions..

dude think life is a rudy/rocky movie

Cap has a legit argument though. What if Europe and Africa are being attacked at the same time? The government could force the Avengers to only to protect Europe since they might deem it more worth protecting instead of Africa.

Also later on what if the government feels that a certain group (like the Inhumans) are a threat and want the Avengers to take care of em?

Steve and Tony both have legit points and they did a good job of showing that in the clip. Hopefully we get more clips like that supporting each side.

So Cap wants to protect Africa instead and forget Europe?

There'll always be additional reasons and motives to why one place may take priority over another place but not protecting/saving one place because somebody on your side or allied with you will benefit isn't a good reason either.

They could opt to not do it at all. Tell the gov. no and see how that pans out.

This isn't a support the gov. obey their commands at every turn sort of thing.

This is about oversight, accountability, and trying to make the best choices for these cataclysmic situations.

See I don't see the argument as one of control.. I see it more as a responsibility thing

Like a doctor needing a license before he is allowed to practice.. Or a pilot.. Hell an average joe with a driver's license

Like you can't just pick up and decide to be that thing all willy nilly

Agree. That's how it should be viewed. You can't handle food in a restaurant without a food handlers card

Bingo. Everyone else is required to get training before a job, so it only makes sense that people with powers (Which give them the ability to be extremely dangerous in the wrong situation) receive some kind of training as well.

My man you legit died though. Don't try to cross that out as if it's wrong :lol

And you'll also notice that Tony never once, even after you died, changed his position on the Registration Act. He chose a side and stuck with it through the end.

Boob reductions have their place.

Peggy Carter chick needs one.

Might be one of the worst things i've ever read :{ You belong on Team Cap with that mentality.

From Wiki -- What if Civil War Ended Differently?
The first is detailed in, "What if Captain America led all the heroes against the Registration Act?" In this reality, Tony Stark dies of the Extremis virus, leaving the U.S. government to choose Steve Rogers as the spokesperson for heroes, who as in the regular universe opposes registration. Though he manages to delay its passing, the Stamford disaster occurs as in the 616 reality. Without Tony Stark to provide a fairer path for registration, the government's response is more extreme. Governmental forces led by Henry Peter Gyrich destroy the resistance and many heroes are slain.
The second is detailed in, "What if Iron Man lost the Civil War?" In this reality, Iron Man asks for Cap's help in chapter three instead of threatening him, admitting his doubts about his actions rather than trying to justify them, and thus Cap does not use the hidden weapon in his glove to disable Tony's armor. The heroes unite to stop the out-of-control Thor clone, Ragnarok, which is released when Hill detects the weapon and assumes that Cap is still planning to use it. The resulting goodwill convinces Captain America to help run the program as he is the only one the heroes will trust with their secret identities.

Vulture Will Appear In SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING

You never know who you'll run into in Vegas. Sometimes the people you run into will have some interesting information. Like about Spider-Man: Homecoming, for instance.

Yes, I was told, that's the title they're working with at the moment. I think it'll be the title. We may even see the title treatment later today, when Sony presents their next year's slate at CinemaCon (which is happening here in Vegas, and is why I'm in Vegas). But what we may not hear officially announced yet is this:

The Vulture will be in this movie. Will he be the main baddie? Will he be a villain Spidey has to defeat in an opening scene? I don't know, although old rumors that passed by my ears indicated a non-main villain role for the old bird.

Sam Raimi had wanted to do the Vulture back when he was running the franchise, but he ended up first getting stuck with Venom and then having the series rebooted out from under him. I wonder how much the inclusion of the Vulture is an eff you to old Avi Arad, the once-producer on the series and a guy who I understand wasn't keen on the character.

The inclusion of the Vulture at all makes me happy. For one thing, I like the idea of a very young Peter Parker going up against a very old Adrian Toomes. I like the Silver Age aspect of this, one of the sillier but also most famous Spider-Man villains. And I like the idea of an aerial foe who will be able to get Spidey swinging and leaping around - if Captain America: Civil War is any indication, Marvel (who is producing the film for Sony) has this aspect of the character nailed.
