What Anti-virus/Anti-spyware programs do you use?

I feel that I need a better security system for my computer, however I don't want to pay for one.

What do you use and does anyone know any free programs that are good?

(btw, I use Avast, but apparently it is notorious for the viruses that it lets slip by the detector

I'm using McAfee because it comes free with Yahoo DSL. Is that good? I see that a bunch of people are using different anti-virus programs. The only ones Iknow of are Norton and McAfee

I got Eset Nod32 and its definitely the best Antivirus program I've ever had.

Bitdefender...an Norton is not good at all, it takes up so much space on your computer.

if you have everything set up properly and you're not an idiot on the internet. avg will do the job
