gap ones are pretty nice.  they usually have some that are thinner and a few that are a little thicker. and the outlet prices on gap clothes is pretty good too.

I don't normally shop at Gap or Old Navy, but went in once with my girl and picked up some thermals for 6 bucks. Use them for golfing in cold weather over a first layer and they are money and good quality. Also look decent just with jeans for a casual look.

To me they're the best that I'm tried so far, but I haven't tryied a whole lot.

This will be my third Winter with them faithfully under my clothes, and I might hit up the Woodbury Commons outlet this weekend and that's where I usually purchase them.

Military surplus, outdoor store etc. Any mall brand thermal is usually trash compared to high quality cold gear.
