i dunno, i don't really ride the subway and when i do its pretty early, but get caught in the wrong cart with the wrong crew of knuckleheads on the 2 train and you might be in for a good night.

To be fair, BART hasn't been around as long as Chicago and NYC. I would also like to add that SF has its own light-rail(muni/street-car) to get around so we're good in the city.

We would probably have the same type of problem if we had a 24 hour train that ran through the bay..waitin for people to slip
