The bus I'm taking doesn't have internet or outlets. It does have a TV.

I'll be on a six hour trip. What is there to do other than read and sleep.

Newp, well I have a netbook too that I'd use to charge it and tether

that sucker gets killer battery life.  But I can only cruise the interwebs for so long before I get bored.

Ahhh I hate Greyhound. I was on a bus for like 10+ hours one time. When it was only suppose to be like 7.5 hours.

But umm, if you're traveling by yourself, talk to the people around you.

I was on the bus one time with some kid that goes to a community college in Alabama and swore he was going to make it to the NBA.

And some Jamacian professor from some college in PA.

You meet some pretty cool characters.

I never take greyhound. I do take Amtrak though to Montreal and theyres a bunch of mighty fine french females

I was on a Greyhound for a 26 hour drive from DC to Mississippi...worst trip ever. This guy forced me to put his demo on my laptop to people at my school could hear it. Had this guy cussin out his girl at 3 am loudly on the back of the bus. Also had this african guy talking loud on the phone walking back and forth in the aisles. In addition to all that, when we left atlanta the bus kept cutting off on the highway so we had to layover in ATL for another 2 hours.

I'll take my touch and netbook along for the ride. Sucks that I can't tether. I'll just watch movies/play apps/listen to music. I might get a book or two in there as well.

Greyhound has buses with internet access but it's only specific routes: DC to NYC, DC to Montreal, DC to Mass and vice versa.

I'm going from DC to Pitt. Shall be fun.

When I'm on the greyhound, I usually just listen to music and sleep. Sleep helps the time go by
