It's crazy when I tell some people I don't eat pork, and they're like well shrimp/lobster/crab are bottom feeders.

yes. i hate chicken on the bone. my mom used to get mad at me because of it but seeing the part that connects to the bone and fried skin is nasty to me. so glad to see im not the only one!

but people may have an aversion to certain things for subconscious reasons without ever having tried it

I have no problem trying something for the first time, I'm not really repulsed by anything taste-wise

texture is a big issue for me
