What simple things make you happy?

When the pizza cheese is melted perfectly and the pepperoni is spread evenly, with the edges curling up so they're slightly crispy.

Uninterrupted naps

my son calling for me
not having to share my food with my wife or kid :hat

Sitting on the sofa in boxers and a tank top. Going to bed early. A nice sunset. Cold water. When my daughter emails me from class while I'm at work. Coffee in the morning. Old ***** ****.

The simplest thing I do every day that always makes me happy is gardening.

Taking care of something and watching it grow every day, for months. Waking up and smelling fresh soil and plants, digging your hands through the dirt. Learning what different plants like and how to nurture them best. Then the payoff of harvesting your crop and consuming your own food/herbs, knowing that you grew from seed organically. Being self-sustainable and promoting biodiversity :hat

Considering starting a larger outdoor farm and also raising honeybees eventually.

Yo this sounds really nice to get into.
Any tips on getting started for someone with ZERO (absolutely none) experience and no yard?
I have a patio for my apt but not much else to work with.

Any starter packs or such?
