What were some of the most memorable things you got to witness in person?

I was in the Delta Center for Michael Jordan's flu game against the Jazz in the '97 playoffs

as well as game 6 of the '98 playoffs when he hit "the shot" over Russell.

Also, i'll never forget being there in the Thomas & Mack and watching Jimmer Fredette (sig check!) go for 52 against New Mexico in the MWC semi-final
That was certainly one of the greatest performances i've ever seen...

. I be feeling kinda hanger-onish or like I'm beating a dead horse bringing it up as much as I do, but I'm REALLY proud of Katie Washington. Seeing all of everything that came about as she became valedictorian of Notre Dame was epic to me. I mean, I'm not surprised at all, I'm just...man..

Nah I feel you. Some of my most memorable memories having to do with people who aren't famous or well known events.
 
Visitng US for the first time and my parents surprised my brother and I to an NBA game, Lakers v Golden State. One of Magic's last games, just amazing experience.

Newcastle v ManUtd - United won 2-1 came back from a goal down last minute winner. My Dad, my brother and I in the away end going nuts with the other supporters. The police escorted all us United fans to the train station and onto the train home.

In a car going 200km/h, dodged a huge cow in the middle of the road (perils of living in Africa), veered off into a ditch, no one was hurt as the car slid on its side and then came to a stop and landed wheels down. Started the engine up and drove off, we were all shook for a few hours after! The only damage to the car was a broken side mirror and scratched up doors.

Losing my V badge to an older woman!!

Lightning striking about 40ft away from me. I was sitting in my car parked just looking at the rain fall when lightning struck a light pole right infront of me. Caused a blackout on the whole block.
