I consider Modern Warfare better and more fun but W@W is newer and has different guns.
I play Modern Warfare more though.

FPS for PS3... Farcry 2 is okay, WaW is okay, COD 4 is excellent. Killzone 2 will be one of the best.

I agree with poster above i hate WW2 FPS' which is why I never got into the COD series till now. Modern Warfare is piff tho.

cod4 is already one of the best on any system. its a must if u dont have it for the ps3
cod waw is pretty good. co-op mode is fun. nazi zombie mode is even more fun
resistance 2 is good as well.
far cry 2 is also good
