I think unique rep is from different members, while rep received is all reps total.

Unique reps originate from different members/users.
Reps recieved is the sum of your reps, some fraction of which originates from the same users, in different threads, on different posts.

oh so unique = number of reps received as opposed to the total. got it.

How do we quote two posts

Hit '"MULTI" on one of the posts you want to quite. You can hit multi on as many posts as you'd like.
then, on the last post you want to quote, instead of hitting 'MULTI', hit "QUOTE".
