C2 has crispy kare-kare to match Kanin Club's dinuguan artery blocker. Literally a "killer combo." Why must all the best tasting food be bad for you, dang.

Robinsons Manila Midtown wing
SM North Carpark

These are the ones I tried... AFAIK, there's a boneless Crispy Pata in their menu and they are part of the CCA company alongside Cravings.

Lola Ely's is not that good anymore... Chades is the new Lola Ely's

regarding tapsilog's:

maty's tapsilog @ don galo, paranaque gotta be one of the best kept secrets here in the south! we usually hit this place after a long night of drinking. there's an urban legend that they use horse meat for their tapa but its so good that i stopped caring.

there's also this one house inside philam village here in las pinas called "sese's" that serves tapsilog. they use pork for their tapa. though theyre quite stingy with their tapa, whats unique and crave-worthy about their tapsilog is that they serve it with little pieces of chicharon and their kangkong achara is topnotch!

hidden tapsilog spots here in the south are

Not sure if its been posted already, but if any of you are in for some good Chinese food, I suggest you try the resto along Camia St., in Makati. I'm not sure if they have a name now, but the place never seems to run out of patrons during lunch and even dinner hours.

For Chinese Resto's :

Sm Moa -Hong Kong Emperor
Along Macapagal Ave- Golden Bay Palace.

Only a few decent Chinese resto's left in Chinatown.
There is still the original Lingnam mami house.
Golden Fortune ( Great Dimsums)
David's Tea House ( Superb Shabu-Shabu)
Eng Bee Tin ( Purple fire truck FTW!)
Few joints run by real china men ( Zu- Zhou) is one of the best.

Sad to say only a few old timers visit this area anymore.
Most went mainstream.

word!

boss jason there's one resto there in chinatown that me and my classmates used to frequent during our college days (2000-2002) called "Ocean Dragon". they have merienda dimsum all you can for only php130. you can try all types of dumplings, siomai, siopao, chicken feet, spare ribs w/ tausi, etc. familiar with that resto? is it still open?

thanks!

Hey D, Ocean Dragon closed down few years ago. It was one of the best and biggest Chinese resto's back in the day along with Presidents sadly both Closed now.

Anyways there is still a smaller version of the Presidents Restaurant in Chinatown.  Their dimsum is also great. Just don't expect to pay 130

.  Single orders will already cost you 50++.

And lastly, one of the originals, Tasty Dumplings,. still serving the best tasting porkchops and dumplings in Chinatown.

There is a tasty dumpling branch as well in retiro QC..
And beside it is also a good resto serving maki and fresh lumpia..forgot the name though..
