What tips from here have you actually taken and used to get real life W's?

Believe it or not, I was browsing NT while job hunting and happened to go into a thread whose topic had nothing to do with jobs and ended up applying to my current job because of someone posting the job website for their company.

Thank you NT, all those hours of my life on NT have def paid off

Knowledge, tbh. Sometimes, I type words (e.g. obama economy) in advanced search just to see what's been discussed and how perceptions have changed. I'll click on a couple lengthy threads and learn something new almost every time. A lot of time has been wasted on this message board but a small part of it has been productive.

On a more personal level, the US Census job posting. Great job for a college student.

i was always the one up to date on world events and always know useless/interesting facts that impress people

but other than that NT has def made me open my eyes to things i would never have thought i would be interested/reading into
