When was the last time the NBA playoff field was this wide open?

Very very possible. I'ma Celtic fan so i'm with you.
I thought it was gonna be LAL Vs. OKC & CHI Vs. MIA.

But now i'm not too sure.

1999 wasn't that wide open. Going into it everyone was convinced it would be either Miami or Indiana from the East, and in the West either Utah or San Antonio.

Spurs are deep and have a great coach, but lack the size to compete in 7 games with OKC, LA, and even Memphis again.

OKC has to be the clear favorite coming out the West.

I still consider Memphis the most dangerous though....they matchup well with everybody in the West.

For the East, how does anybody beat MIA in 7? I'm not seeing it.

Yup..last lockout..

Yea, I think these shortened season records don't accurately reflect the teams.  Who knows what could happen.  Anyone could get hot in the playoffs.

Wide open means there's no favorites, everyone has a great chance.

I expect either OKC or Miami to get into the finals and the other to flop, that's usually how these things work.

Oklahoma is playing very well. The young talent.
Impressive team almost every night.
I say they deserve it.

Dont sleep on the Celtics.

Dat championship pedigree

But as long MIA or LA doesn't win it then I'm good. I wouldn't mind seeing San Antonio win it one more time

Would love to see these guys play and beat OKC in route to the finals.

Memphis is the sleeper cell right about now.
