Where my CLASS OF 2009 folk at?! Where you been accepted? Where you going to college?

So far I am 3/12 for college acceptances, but the last one doesn't matter to me. Yeah, I applied for the lucky number of 13 schools.

ACCEPTED:
  • UC Berkeley-I will most likely be going here
  • UC San Diego (Winter Quarter)
  • UC Davis
WAIT LISTED:
  • Occidental College
REJECTED:
  • UCLA
  • UC Irvine lol (Rejected by Irvine, but in at Berkeley)
  • USC
  • Dartmouth College
  • Stanford University
  • Claremont McKenna College
  • Boston College
  • Pitzer College
WAITING:
  • Wake Forest University
I was so surprised to get into Berkeley and I'll probably be going there in the fall unless my appeal to UCLA goes through. It was really my firstchoice, but of course I was rejected. Good Luck to everyone at their schools, I've heard Berkeley is really competitive so it looks like I'm gonna beworking real hard next year

Rejected:Berkeley, UCSD
Accepted: CSULB, SLO, Cal Poly Pomona, UCI, UCSC

My top choice was UCSD (biomed engineering)..From the schools I got accepted into, I was leaning towards SLO..but then I checked my financial aid package anddidn't get any free money (only loans) so I'm probably just going to a CC like Santa Monica or El Co then transfer to either UCSD, John Hopkins.

Good luck making friends at Berkeley

I'm from Sacramento so Davis gets a bad wrap at my school even though it's a pretty good school. No one wants to be 15-45 minutes from home in Davislol and everybody wants an Ivy, STanford or Berkeley

Still waiting for Harvard, Yale, and Stanford Law to get back to me. Any other NT'ers waiting on law school acceptances? The constant mailbox, phone, and e-mail checking is exhausting. Young people thinking about applying to law school, beware. It's a hell of a process. Plan ahead.
Looking at Law Schools ads well for next year. Looking at Georgetown, Fordham, NYU, Emory, U of Maryland, and Notre Dame

Accepted:
Temple University

I will be going to Temple. I passed up a $60K scholarship to LUC, $50K to Seton Hall , and $40K to St. John's in favor of the Atlantic-10 Conference, anationally-accredited communications program, and the cheaper tuition.

^ I'm in the same boat. GW is 50k and Virginia Tech is my other option. I can't decide.

If I'm transferring from a community college, is it too late to apply?

Don't know why I'm asking NT but I haven't really put any thought into my decision and it just hit me now ..

Pull that GPA up and you will be fine. Thing is SAT scores are important but def. not as important as schedule and GPA (I know some people who had2200+ SATs and 3.5 and got denied from the same places people with 1900 and 4.0 got in).

You look good though (NH) with the rest of the stats.

when you get accepted does it come in a big or small envelope?
when you get rejected does it come in a big or small envelope?
thanks to whoever can answer this
