this album was pretty dope. i first liked him when he did "kiss me" remix with tha Rayne while he was still signed to arista.but i really startedvibin on his stuff around Fahrenheit 1/15 Part I. if you follow his work from mixtape to now,its cool to see how he keeps a continuous content flow. alot offolks that got THE COOL,didnt buy or hear FOOD and LIQUOR and are missing out on how the cool was formed. hes the only hiphop album ive bought since the BLACKALBUM.im on my real hiphop tip,FOLLOW THE LEADER been rockin in the ipod since dec.

i do agree that his lyrics arent as strong as they are in his mixtapes but the production on his two albums are on point. but i liked food and liquor alittlemore than "the cool" overall.

Lol at the pac comment. I am a big pac fan but metaphor's lol.

The cool is one of my favorite albums of all time. Lupe is on a different level. I love cds that you can listen to 1000 times and each time pick up somethingnew. The complexity of dumb it down and the irony of that song is killer. PS Kanye is the worst rapper i have ever heard and yes that includes soulja boy.
