If you've seen Gangs of New York how can you not say Bill the Butcher. Not only is he one of the greatest villains ever he's one of the greatestcharacters in film ever.


BTW here's AFI's top 100 heroes and villains. The list is from 2003, Gangs of New York was released in December 2002 so that probably has something todo with Bill the Butcher's absence.
