Wiggins i think might get to DRose, Carmelo Anthony level of superstar player but I think he will fall short of that Lebron, Anthony Davis, young Dwight Howard, Durant, CP3 tier.

So Kobe put up 27, 6, 6 on 46% shooting while CP0 was averaging 17, 10, and 3 on 48% shooting and there was some type of gap between them. If you want to say KD and Lebron fine, don't be dumping CP0 on their level.

I know I shouldn't even address you since you're a brainless moron whose entire existence on Earth consists of trolling the NBA thread all day every day, and is the #1 reason the NBA thread has gone to crap the past couple years, but the answer is he played at an extremely high level, even though I know you won't admit it because you'd rather die than give him credit for anything.

there are a bunch of players that have played at "an extremely high level". should have figured all you're good for is an empty statement.

On 59% TS with a league-leading assist rate and the 2nd best on/off numbers in the league. There's also this weird other half of the court where CP3 was slightly above average and Kobe was among the league's worst defenders.

I guess Kobe must be the only guy in history who gets free votes in so many accolades

Its not just fans stuffing the ballot or "ballboys" voting for these accolades

Its multiple people across multiple platforms....coaches...GMs....writers...reporters.....broadcasters......fans

Top 10 in what, adjusted on/off? No he wasn't. His defense dragged him way down.

There really isn't a metric that quantifies wing defense accurately

Also On/off can be deceiving

According to On and off stats Clippers opponents shot 51 percent when CP was on the court and 46 percent when he was off the court.The Lakers opponents shot 49 percent when Kobe was on the court and 48 when Kobe was off the court

I don't think anybody would say Kobe was better for your team defense than Chris Paul was but that's what the on and off says

Also Im not buying APM...Anything that tells me that Paul Millisap is (7th )in the NBA, The Birdman (11th) Amir Johnson (14th) Roy Hibbert( 16th) are in the top 20 NBA players I'm disregarding that stat

thing about relying on stats is that both sides just go back and forth posting stats that support their argument thinking that their stats are more important purely based on personal bias.

these dudes who exclusively use stats to form their basketball opinions are so quick to discredit stats that dont support their arguments, its laughable

This is why I take most of these stats with a grain of salt most of them show there was a negligible difference between but then you go find one that makes it seem like it was. Anybody with eyes knows Kobe was a top 5 player in 2013.
