Why is Popeyes so slow

The McChicken was a premium sandwich back in the 90’s
It was the #3 extra value meal behind the Big Mac and quarter pounder with cheese
You best believe it
You mean the same mcchicken that is on the $1 menu currently?

Actually, I do recall them big macs used to be 2 for $2.22 or something, but the price went up on those. Haha

Maybe I used the wrong word calling it premium lol
But back in the day it was a regular signature sandwich like the Big Mac and QP
It was a decent size and the patty wasn’t half bad
Then all of a sudden it was gone
Then it was brought back as a smaller value sandwich with the horrible chicken patty you see today

once in awhile i'll get the mcchicken.....here in az its the spicy mcchicken and for $1....sometimes it isnt that bad

Never trust your memory.

It was always a low gradechicken patty.

Nah they definitely downgraded the quality of the sandwich.

Its why every now and then they come with a new quality beef or chicken sandwich and raise prices.

I know it is subjective but he is saying they were ALOT better. I'm saying it might have changed but we have to stop pretending it was ever THAT great.

It was always a fast food sandwich and we had weak taste buds as kids that didn't know better.

I bet the refrigerated and reheated in the microwave next day McChicken tasted the same as a fresh one rolled right outta the McKitchen

Tasted like soggy roll, McChicken, melted mayo and slimy lettuce

At the time it was probably all good.
