Paying players more is so much harder than what players are making it out to be.

The reality is that the WNBA is trying to operate in a consumer driven industry, sports. The bottomline is that no one goes to the games or watches it. If no one watches the games or goes to the games, where's the money going to come from to pay the players? Where's the money going to come from to get them charter flights?

For optimal success, the WNBA has to appeal to men, and men nor women watch or support the WNBA.

NBA is not about to take the PR hit that would come with ending the only professional femal basketball league in the USA.

Look how far they went to get an article about the situatiin taken down from Forbes

Maybe WNBA players should be a little more gracious towards the NBA and stop criticizing it and its players when it and its players are the only reason they have a league to play in to begin with.

The WNBA is lucky that the NBA (players and league itself) are so concerned with PR that they dont fire back at the idiotic comments the WNBA players have been directed at the NBA in recent times.

The way for them to make more is to increase the size of the pie, a.k.a., getting men who are not basketball junkies and HETEROSEXUAL women to support the league.

These women being ungrateful towards the NBA when in reality their jobs are basically good will and charity

If they want to get paid more they need to reduce the other costs of business, stop renting out NBA arenas that they can't fill and rent out cheaper venues, downgrade on training staff and lifestyle perks. If you want more pay, you need to take that money from somewhere.

Tell us more about these so called lifestyle perks the WNBA players have that they should downgrade!

Anything from downgrading plane flights, downgrading hotel rooms, not playing in NBA arenas, ect.

If they want to get paid more, when working for a company that is losing money every year, that money will have to come out of the companies current expenses.
