This is an obtuse take. When the conversation year after year end is about growing the recognition of Women’s sports eapecially basketball.

A nuanced conversation can’t be had if you don’t see the value in attendance numbers. Especially in a sport where we already know the outcome before the games are played.

But sure get the “lol CC ” in.

This has been the least coverage Women’s basketball has gotten since before March Madness. If you think that’s a good thing then more power to you.

Oh wow I didn't know about the foul stuff. It's team fouls. So anybody gets a foul then it's on the entire team, and you get 7 fouls til you're in the bonus, then 10 fouls for the double bonus.

And just like that, it's over. US ran out of gas toward the end, but really seemed to lose steam after that early lead. They managed to keep hitting shots during the stretch where Germany got the lead, and keep tying it up. But Germany's size bothered Van Lith, and overall the team just seemed to get tired and get sloppy with drives and passes and then shots. Some of the shots that they made toward the middle/end, even those you could tell were garbage, but went in.

Then the fatigue really set in and it was a wrap.

On to the next! Good game to watch. Germany hit that open 3 to essentially end it, and they got it because the US was too tired to even try to run out and contest.
