One of the things I’ll never understand: you just won a championship and you go out of your way to taunt an opposing player back.
I’ve seen similar stuff across multiple sports (so this isn’t just a W critique), but like you’d rather be petty and think about the other team/person rather than just basking in the joy of being a champion?

I don’t feel bad for the Lynx or Reeve AT ALL. The Lynx got so much home cooking at TC during the Maya Moore era, it was unbearable to watch at times.

I'm just finding out all the shots the Aces took on the Stewie/Liberty last year after they won so I guess this kind of behavior isn't exactly unprecedented. I guess it's true that not everyone can be graceful winners and I can't disagree when people argue how a lot of these women are kinda unlikable.
But whatever, I'll turn the other cheek this one time since I'm happy for the Liberty win

Like I said, I’ve seen this from many teams/individuals over the years. I just don’t understand it myself.
It’s also different to throw some shade in a press conference when asked specifically about an incident or the opponent. I just find it funny when people go out of their way to be petty when they could be celebrating their own championship.
If it was me? I’m boasting myself up - you couldn’t tell me nothing cause I’m the champ, I’m not worried about anyone else.

She did miss the go ahead layup. By nyara fouled her the play before. Don’t call it, fine. But don’t let Stewie C walk into phantom foul the next play.

The fix was in last night. I guess I've been late to the hype train with the WNBA but i watched the last five minutes of the 4th last night, and it was clear the refs were trying to do whatever to let NY win.
