Or she could just value her own league enough to want to prioritize THAT vs. being a side show act on someone else's stage. I respect her for that.
Womens sports don't need to be an, "In addition to" men's sports. They can hold their own nuts and should be encouraged to do so.
I've always felt having WNBA stars participating in the NBA ASG Weekend (especially in the celebrity game with bums) indirectly tells the public not to take the product as a seriously ran INDEPENDENT league.
Sure, the 3pt isn't to that degree but it they are still presented as an "outside act."
It doesn't help the league's independence.
