I dont think its race oriented so much as it is family orientated. Cant help genes no matter what race.

Partly because of the sad history of America and what people forced other people to do

j/k Well its a combination of your family genes and ethnicity. I know a lot of very "cut" Asians word to Bruce Lee. Southeast Asians who work out can can get brolic like Kick Boxers/Muay Thai fighters.

Within each classically defined races body types vary widely. West Africans have a different "body type" from East Africans for instance. And not every race/ethnic group that is "brolic" was bred that way during slavery (not saying it didn't happen in America). Samoans are brolic as hell and they weren't bred like cattle, the more brolic males were just more successful in mating so those genes got passed on through generations.

This has actually crossed my mind as well. I work just as hard and my results are nowhere as near

I blame my genetics

Strength doesn't translate to size directly, but yes genetics does play a role.
Better get on the bicycle.

I don't know...I knew of several South Koreans that were putting up 350 lbs. back in HS. They were crazy brolic, but short.

A good friend of mine is S. Korean and he is putting up 4 plates and some change for his one rep max. My friend is a bit taller (like 5'9") but brolic nonetheless.
