Wrestling Thread 2022 | Mods Please Lock This Thread

Thought Bunny was one of the better parts of the Rumble match. Especially when it comes to celeb entrants. What else was he supposed to do?
Not be in a got damn wrestling match. He is a Rapper. Him being that successful vs. Pro wrestlers indirectly ****s on the wrestling product.
But Y'all like everything to be fun and silly.

YOUR COMPANY.

Y'all are just as bad as AEW.

I understand why these wrestling companies do things like this.

Never had an issue when AEW had Shaq wrestle.

If these celebs/athletes get in the ring AND actually look like they have some sort of idea of what they are doing then i see no issue with it.

would like to see mia yim and taya go to aew or back to tna. keith lee to aew or tna as well. ember moon to aew would be good too.
That would instantly bump of the work of the women in that division. They need more workhorses in their division to help out Jade, Anna Jay, etc

Y'all seeing this stuff coming out about Brian Kendrick being an Anti-Semite??..

Tony KKKhlan deciding to sign and immediately put an anti-Semite on television the second he could :smh:

NOT good. Unfortunately not surprising.

This thread got Shane fired with all the stupid "secret appearance" rumors.

What the hell makes #Yalls think that Vince would ever do something like that?
If there's anything to take from this is that the only outside wrestler was from Impact. I think that says a lot about who they decided to come one. If anyhting that should add fuel to the rumors from last year that Vince would acquire the TNA/Impact library

I know, I know, "it's just wrestling."

WWE Conditioning has made us accept REGULAR people being able to train for a FEW months and be able to come in and HANG with folks that have been training for years+. At some point we have to stop accepting this nonsense man. It makes ANYONE think they can just walk in off the street and get the job done.

It is telling the world your ACTUAL wrestlers ain't special.

But then yall talk about how the modern dudes have no type of star power.

It's just stupid man.

I reminisce on The Ultimate Warrior returning to WWF in 1996 for his third and final stint with the company occasionally. I admit I was suckered in with his return that year because WWF did a good job of hyping it.

I was seriously happy he came back, especially when he squashed Triple H in that match in WrestleMania XII. I loved how he no-sold the Pedigree, lifted him above his head and dropped him, then finished him off with the splash-you-on-the-back. He really made Triple H look like a jobber on a major pay-per-view event. 😆

My fandom with him began waning shortly after his return that spring. Then I stopped being his fan when he got fired shortly before the In Your House: International Incident event in July '96 because I learned he was always a cancer to deal with.

I realized in hindsight that Warrior was realistically finished and irrelevant as a star after he got fired during the SummerSlam 1991 event. It literally took me 5 years after that to realize that he would never achieve the same level of relevancy again.

I still can't fathom how I tried to see him back in 1996 as the same star he was during his first stint with WWF.

Did any of y'all buy into the return of The Ultimate Warrior in WWF back in 1996? Please feel free to be honest as I was. I'm curious to see if others felt the same as me about him that year.

Guess I was right about the nature of Danhausen's gimmick...old time horror host

Bring back MonsterVision

Joe Bob Briggs has a MonsterVision like show called "The Last Drive-in With Joe Bob Briggs" on Shudder
