Grain of salt with these reports, but the more that comes out (and is seen with Punk/Tony) the more it looks corny. Regardless if the line was in joking or not, leadership (or management - specifically VPs and up) should not be making those comments.

That’s definitely not how you lead, you don’t know who in that setting doesn’t find you funny or will take offense to it. Your duty in that specific setting is to actively listen and effectively communicate information.

Also, “Pep” talks are stupid. You’re leading Men and Women, not high schoolers. Treat them as such.
