Man, looking back at last night's Raw, it was just AWFUL.

As a standalone show, it was awful, but I've come to expect that from the WWE.  But in a single !*%%$#% segment, they ruined a potentially great storyline with Bret and Vince.  It went from being "real" to just another stupid WWE storyline.

hey does anyone have any news on Sting's status with TNA? the last time i remember seeing him was around the Jan 4th show

raw was terrible, here's some minor news:

What Happened After RAW Went Off The Air
Sheamus got on the microphone after Raw went off of the air and said that if Cena wants his WWE Title match, he can have it right now. That led us to John Cena defeating WWE champion Sheamus by disqualification, so Sheamus retained. The referee disqualified Sheamus for shoving him.
Next Week's RAW Guest Hosts
The hosts for next week's edition of WWE Monday Night RAW will be singer Jewel and pro bull rider Ty Murray.

Sting has missed dates due to a family emergency.
This was posted last week:

Hulk Hogan & Eric Bischoff Upset With Sting
Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff appeared on The Bubba the Love Sponge Show last Friday for a combination work/shoot interview segment that included one new piece of news, which was Bischoff knocking Sting for missing the last set of television tapings.

Sting missed last month's Genesispay-per-view and subsequent television tapings due to a familyemergency, though it remains unclear what is was exactly. What is knownis that nobody is questioning its legitimacy considering that he hasbeen in the wrestling industry for years and has never had a reputationfor coming up with excuses to miss dates.

Bischoff said that everyone in TNAhas to be completely committed to the organization or things won't workout, with Hogan adding he doesn't see how they can use anyone missingshows. Internally, it was noted as a message being sent to Sting, though it's unlikely he'll get it considering that he pays no attentionto the wrestling business except on days when he's working as hedoesn't follow it online. Nonetheless, the belief was Sting had a verylegitimate reason for missing the last set of shows.

Bischoff said, "Sting's a great talent. Love him to death. My problemis now that we're trying to do this big picture. I understand how bigpicture it is for the wrestling business. Sting had life-and-deathpersonal issues, but from a business side, it totally screws us up. Ifat any time that happens, I got a personal issue, now we have to switchgears on who we use, you can't build the world around them. Everybodyhas got to make a commitment. It's easy to say we want TNA to be No. 1,but if you're not willing to put TNA as a priority above almost everysituation, then it's probably not going to work out."

Orlando Jordan's new gimmick
TNA wrestler Orlando Jordan kissed a man prior to his match with Samoa Joeat the TNA Impact taping on Monday. Jordan was escorted to the ring bya man and a woman. He had his arms around both of them and then kissedeach of them prior to his match.

I wonder what they are going to do with Legacy? I noticed that Orton got a face like pop when he entered as well as RKO chants.

I actually enjoyed the Kofi/Dibiase match as well as the Cena/HHH. The Orton/Sheamus one was cool too.

Tonight marks the final episode of ECW.  I'm not going to bother getting sentimental because Extreme Championship Wrestling died a decade ago.  It would be nice though if they aired a video package tonight documenting the history of ECW.  If there's one thing the WWE rarely messes up, it's putting together video packages, so hopefully they can air a nice one tonight.  Of course, even if they do, it will be the WWE's revisionist history of ECW.

Two matches have been announced for tonight:
*Christian vs Ezekiel Jackson for the ECW Title in an Extreme Rules Match
*Show Miz vs Goldust and Yoshi Tatsu for the Unified Tag Team Titles

None of the current talent in ECW will remain on the show.  Everyone will either be moved to Raw, Smackdown, or wished the best on their future endeavors.  No word on what will happen to the ECW Championship.  Hopefully it is just removed.

As for NXT, after reading today's press release, I'm actually excited for the show.  Between the format (which could be good or could also be awful) and the group of wrestlers involved, it has my interest.  It's basically Tough Enough 2010 using FCW talent.

STAMFORD, Conn., February 16, 2010 – World Wrestling Entertainment and Syfy today announced the next generation of reality television with the debut of WWE NXT, Tuesday, February 23, 2010 at 10:00 PM ET/PT on Syfy.

WWE NXT is a hybrid live event/reality show featuring eight well-known, popular WWE Superstars (“Pros

#1. I'm hoping Norman Smiley is on NXT as a instructor.

#2. Looking forward to both matches tonight.

#3. WWE needs a TV title to feature a singles wrestler on both Smackdown and RAW...I decided.

looks like survivor series is no more and we will get war games instead......yeeeeeessssssssss

Well, at least New Jack made the show.

I hope there's a better video package than then opening segment.

I actually kinda hope Yoshi does well on whatever brand he goes to..dude is fun to watch.

I'm not looking forward to NXT
