Let's say they don't want to turn Roman heel, fine, I think you can still make him work as a face. Just have him be a badass that dominates naturally rather than being put in against all odds, forced situations. His whole career has been unnatural.

I'm now curious if that pop for him in Philly when he won the strap (and punched Vince) was genuine. He was getting pretty consistent cheers after that RAW too.

Or was that just a one-off thing? They even got the mega-smark Philly crowd to cheer him.

I think it showed how much they hated Seamus having the belt. I liked Roman as champ after that, and if they would've just booked him as a badass, instead of against all odds face, he'd probably would still get love.

At least Cena still gets reactions from kids and some adults. The only pop Reigns gets at these PPVs and in mark cities is women. Kids don't even have that attachment to him yet. They like Ambrose more. Turning him heel for a year or so is the only legitimate option, IMO. Have him do something to Dean to turn him, and then give him a lone wolf, Baron Corbin-esque character. I understand that they are in a tough spot with all the injuries, but it's going to look ridiculous when "Mega Heel Authoritarian" Triple H is getting the loudest pop of the night and then Reigns gets booed out of the building on the biggest stage of them all. It really shouldn't be that hard.

Well said. It's been very forced to the point where his title run/chase for the belt was very un-enjoyable. While I don't care for his character/in ring work, give me a shocking Dean title run over Roman any day.

The worse thing they did was put Ambrose in the title picture. The ending of the rumble gave fans hope that the one they really like could have a chance. Then he put into the triple threat with Reigns and Brock.......fans weren't going to like all three and you would think with the reaction Dean got, they would keep him clear of Reigns to try and get the fans back on his side.


But none of this is Reign's fault. He did everything they asked and he was kinda put in this spot due to Rollins getting hurt. WWE has not helped him build at all.

I've asked the same question and a few guys in here said not to bother; I agree with them. It's going to be a real "play it safe" type of show match wise.

If I'm gonna go to any Barclays event, it'll be Summer Slam.

I agree. I didn't know SS was coming back to Barclays this year.
But man those PPV ticket prices.... I've only been to one WWE event and it was a house show that's why I thought Raw.

I just watched the triple threat of last night. I can't believe they made Reigns no sell the kimura lock :x

I like Reigns but the WWE is doing everything wrong with him. They have nobody to blame but themselves for this mess.
