Wrestling Thread July 15 - Aug 4 | 8/2 TNA - Where MMA Fighters Not Named Brock Go - TITO, Rampage,

Exactly. Would have been THE smartest thing to do. WWE doesn't operate in this manner though.

If they really wanted to, they could simply have the two bump into each other backstage and have 'a moment', and then it could lead to something from there.

That would most likely mean RVD would turn heel, which I don't think WWE wants right now.

It could work because what is left for CM Punk after his feud with Brock at Summerslam?

DC will love this..

The Great Muta was at TNA offices earlier today in Nashville, TN meeting with Jeff Jarrett. TNA's website posted the following, "The Great Muta, who runs Japan's WRESTLE-1 promotion under Gen Sports Entertainment, was in Nashville to discuss future opportunities between TNA and WRESTLE-1."

RVD is probably the 2nd most over person after Dbry..... so you dont want him to come back a heel.... build him up as a face, then turn him.... I dont think RVD could get Booed like that

he was getting cheered in ecw in 1998, and was getting cheered in the invasion angle

WWE should've been inducted him, Liger, Chono into the HOF.

Randy Orton attacked by a fan today during a live event in South Africa. Starts at the 1:24 mark...

Shame it wasn't Cena w/a non-gimmicked aluminum bat instead of Orton with a weak forearm shiver..

I feel like the people who run into the ring to attack wrestlers are the lowest form of scum within the wrestling community.

Right? At the end of the day it's basically a theatre play of some sorts except a lot more dangerous. They are there to flat out entertain you. No need to attack them if they are already getting hurt night in and night out
