the big gold title came from wcw right?

Someone may have to clarify, but I think Ric Flair had it created for himself and it was adopted as the WCW title. Then flair left for the WWE and took it with him and WCW got their own belt for a while until he returned with it. When Vince bought WCW the rights to and design of the belt came with it. I owned a replica of both the winged eagle wwf title and the big gold version2 and the big gold is the only one i still own because it's frakin awesome in person.

yea the big gold belt is such a nice belt....i sold my wcw version but i still have the wwe version2

- According to a new report, the plan for Money in the Bank as recent as a few days before the pay-per-view was to have Alberto Del Rio cash in his briefcase and leave the show as the new WWE Champion, regardless of what happened between John Cena and CM Punk.

There had been several ideas tossed around for the Punk-Cena storyline and WWE decided over the weekend to give Punk the WWE Title and go from there.

Darren Rovell, a sports business reporter for CNBC, noted on his Twitter account that last night’s angle on RAW in which Vince McMahon was relieved of his duties of WWE chief and replaced by his son-in-law, Triple H, may cause issues with WWE stock. Interesting take on Vinces storyline hurting stock. Hasnt WWE stock been taking a hit for a while now though?

I didn't see the logic in del rio competing in the tourney last night. As a heel with a guaranteed title shot he should have total disregards for competing in or winning matches. He should purposely get counted out or forfeit all matches until he cashes in.
