Wrestling Thread June 1st-4th/Post Extreme Rules Discussion

Kalisto as Neville's next challenger PLEASE

I'd love him to incorporate pop culture references in his costumes just like Rey did too

Only saw the main event and it was pretty good. Anything else worth checking?

Wacthing nXt and :lol at them just bleeping everything Kenta says in that locker room promo

Regarding the Hardy's plans

expect Matt to become frustrated with Jeff's high risk moves, leading to a split and likely the broken gimmick.

Not yet I hope. The nostalgia act hasn't run it's course fully. Shame the Dudleyz are gone.

Also, Joe/Lesnar should be good but why should I buy Joe as worthy other than winning that match? He hasn't been booked good since coming up.

OKC blowing a 3-1 lead is the worst thing that could've ever happened. Durant has single handedly ruined the NBA. F**k him and f**k the 3 point chucking Warriors. :{ :{ :{
Yall are so irrational man

KD singlehandedly ruined the NBA? :lol

KD did.

Not the GMs.
Not the CBA.
Not the owners

But KD

Heel KD is good for business. NBA basketball blows.

Samoa Joe vs Brock? Hmmm

We want players to tough it out and work with the talent around them but we don't ask the same from GMs.

Are GMs suckas too if they trade for players that make their quest to win a ring easier? Or does that logic only apply to players?

Well a GM's job is to put the best team they can assemble together in order to win championships for their ownership.

A player's job is to play the best they can with their individual skills while playing for the greater good of the team cohesively in hopes of winning a championship for the team they represent. A team put together by the GM/ownership.

So no a GM is not a sucka for trying to obtain the best players possible.

KD still a ***** for joining that which he couldn't conquer.

Also, Chris Paul was blocked from going to the Lakers from New Orleans by the NBA because it wouldn't "be fair" but going to the Clippers was fine. And I'm sure he's leaving them in free agency soon. But because of the CBA it was okay for KD to go from an okay team where he was one of the 2 main stars to a good-great team with 1 main star and 2 bright stars already becoming another main star for them. It's not competitive.

I admittedly used to like Curry as a player/person but he's an assclown and so is his wife. Smug *** muhfugga.

I can't stand Curry. Little twerp.

But Free Agency allows players to change their location if they feel the talent placed around them isn't. Why fficient. That is what KD did. He wants to win a ring. He wants to "beat LeBron" on the grand stage. Why NOT go to GSW to make that happen? Where else would he have gone to make that happen?

I saw that kick that Finn gave Roman

The look of disgust Roman had when he was check his jaw

Take this to the basketball thread.

This week breakdown is arguably one of the greatest Cruiserweights of all time, the man that used to Lie, Cheat and Steal  Eddie Guerrero. Eddie Guerrero is rightly regarded by both peers and fans as one of the most technically gifted wrestlers in history. With his breadth of experience across the globe.

1994/04/16 Eddie Guerrero vs Chris Benoit

This is the first time these two wrestle this would be the start of one of the greatest rivalries in the sport. Eddie and Chris wrestle each other 21 times.

Frog Splash

Guerrero's finishing maneuver is performed from the top rope onto a prone opponent. With the victim flat on the mat, Guerrero ascends one of the turnbuckles, often with some theatrics and taunting. Perched on the top rope, Guerrero dives off in a horizontal position, bringing his hands and knees together and apart before landing on the opponent. This is often followed by a pin attempt. It causes damage to opponent's ribs or gut, depending on the landing. Guerrero popularized the move in the 1990s and it is another maneuver that is employed by others to pay tribute to him.

It was used by Art Barr in the late '80s and was named by 2 Cold Scorpio who remarked Barr "looked like a frog" whilst performing the move which resulted in Barr naming it the "frog splash". After Barr's death in 1994, Guerrero used the move in tribute to his fallen tag team partner.

Had a really good time at the PPV last night. I was sitting a few rows behind Adam Jones and his crew and got to chat with him for a little during one of the breaks because my buddy knows his handler. Their costumes were on point :lol

Doesn't seem like you guys enjoyed it, but I thought the card was pretty good. I'll watch it on the network later today.

At least half the crowd was rooting for Miz, which was cool. Bayley was getting booed and crowd was loving Bliss. Match was an absolute squash.

Rich Swann got a nice hometown pop. Glad he didn't lose like most do when they're at home.

Had a pretty good view for Jeff off the cage.

Crowd was hating the CW match. Chanting all kinds of different stuff (We want Beachballs, Beachball Mania, CM Punk, etc...). Match seemed boring to me, but you guys seemed to like it. Maybe it'll be better when I watch later today.

Boos were VERY LOUD in person for my man Roman. I certainly wasn't booing though :smokin. Thought the main event was really good. Joe vs Brock SHOULD be really good. We shall see.

Was kind of surprised that Aries didn't go over last night. I'm not necessarily mad about Neville still being booked super strong though. Thing is, I don't think anyone currently on the CW roster can or should beat him. MAYBE Cedric?

IMO, Pete Dunne should be the one to beat Neville. He would have to drop that UK belt though.
