Wrestling Thread June 1st-4th/Post Extreme Rules Discussion

Quadruple OT against the Hawks. Got hit and his headband knocked off on a jumper to tie the game. Refs sat on their whistles, then called him for his 6th personal shortly after. Knicks lose, I die a little inside, rinse, repeat.

Thanks bruh!

that's obviously not the one that he wants..

I don't know if you're going through dementia or just trolling at times

DDP wasn't peak DDP when Mongo joined
Rick Steiner was still teaming with Scott
Luger flopped already as a horsemen
Awesome was in ECW
Two black guys with racist Ric Flair? :rollin
Bulldog was in WWF
Blue Collar Bossman was not stylin and profilin

Regal might be the only attractive pick on this list considering he was apart of the Blue Bloods but even then was only a low midcarder. You'd just have the same complaints about him like Mongo in hindsight

If only Hennig got their a year earlier, that should have been his spot. I still don't get why they made him join the nWo :{

Mongo was in the Horsemen from 95-97..

DDP was, around that time, the TV champ and US champ..So he would've worked out
Both Steiners would've worked at that time..Rick could've broke off from Scott and been an option..
Luger was in singles at the time and was also a bad guy, plus he was popular so him turning bad would've worked..
Awesome was after Mongo, but he still could've been in the Horsemen..So I guess you're right about him, but so am I..
From what I understand Stevie and Bookah, at the time, both had no problems working with anyone so they could've been an option..
Davey was there in 98 so he could've been in the Horsemen and if he was then maybe he never would've went back to WWE..
Bossman wasn't styling and profilin, but he was a helluva worker and was in WCW at that time..He would've been a solid enforcer cause he could wrestle and he was pretty good on the mic..

So maybe you're the one who's got the dementia..

I'm was just trying to say there were options that could have worked out for the simple role of an enforcer..And all those options would've been better than Mongo..

Hardyz returning have 10 mil views already. Got some coworkers who wanna start watching again cuz of Jeff lol

Matt Hardy has added #BROKEN back to his twitter

Man I hope they find a way to let him cook as Broken Matt..He's honestly been the most entertaining, and different, dude in wrestling for the past year..

This. I totally loathed Matt Hardy ever since he ditched the V1 gimmick to go to Raw and be a simp. The Big Money Matt character from ROH was pretty good though, and basically led to the Broken Matt gimmick

Word i liked version 1 but this broken ish is gold plus he stay in character. That interview with y2j was :hat

Mongo was in WCW commentating since 95 but didn't join the Horsemen until the middle of 96 when he turned on Kevin Greene.

DDP didn't win the US Title until end of 97. And he doesn't become the People's Champion or the DDP you remember without feuding with Savage at the end of 96. His whole character was based off of being by himself which is why the crowd popped huge when he turned down Hall & Nash nWo invite

Luger was face feuding with the Giant. Harlem Heat working well with people doesnt change the fact that they were black.

Davey in 98 doesn't help something that happened in 96.

And that Bossman description sounds just like Tye Dillinger who you spent all of yesterday trashing. So Tye Dillinger was Horsemen material :smokin
