Anyone ever bought one of those "commemorative belts" from wwe shop? I want to get one for my brother in law, but it's not that serious of an occasion that I need to spend 450 bucks on a belt for him. Are the commemorative belts trash?

They don't look plastic. You can tell when you touch it because real is metal. They also use a more high quality plastic. If it's going to be on display nobody can really tell a difference. The belt strap isn't real leather also. I guarantee you saw some commemorative titles.

Just be careful with the zipper on the bag it comes with. Got my godson one, and he scuffed the paint taking it in and out of there. Overall, they're pretty nice. Only drawback, for me, was not being able to change the side plates. Sounds like that's not going to be an issue for you in this situation though.
