Well we got what, 10, 11 days till 'Mania? I'm going to post one WM match everyday from my personal favorites in anticipation. Today's match:

All of these things have been fixed or added. I made the change in my original post.

Can anyone explain to me why this is considered by many the best WM match of all time. I mean, it's a solid match but it's far from incredible like people put it out to be. Very slow paced. Shrugs, guess I had to be around to appreciate. I was born in 1992 so that might have a lot to do with it

I think it's always important to look at matches at the time they happened and compare them to matches of that time period.  Savage/Steamboat put on a far more athletic match than anything that was ever done in WWF at that point.  I would argue you really didn't see a match like they had for years to come, around the WM 9 time frame when guys like Bret and HBK started to become stars.

Guys like Hogan, Warrior, Andre, Dibiase, Slaughter, Sid, etc weren't putting on matches like Savage and Steamboat had.

Having watched both again recently, I think Warrior/Savage was better

It doesn't bother me at all. Do what you want. Although, the leather corners, in my opinion, make it look like it should be a desktop calendar. It kinda looks like something the WWE would put out if they were re-releasing the DVD as a 20 year anniversary special edition.
